Many years ago I asked God why He made man and was told, “That I might experience my creation”. I believe He also desired a way to give and receive His Love – He is the Giver, the Receiver and the Gift of His Love! In order to experience that He needed a manifestation of Himself.
A few years ago, while I was praying with some friends, I felt as though I was taken up to a place where I was observing things that were happening on the earth; a young girl being abused and molested, a woman that was being raped, one being beaten, a young girl that was starving and neglected, people with different diseases, natural disasters & ect. I was taken to many different places and happenings. All of the events seemed to be tragic if viewed by the natural mind but I was not seeing them that way. It seemed as though I was seeing them through the eyes of God – the way He sees them. I began to know that He does not see things the way that natural man does. He sees them as experiences that we have somehow agreed to experience and that they have a purpose. I believe they must be experienced, owned and loved back into the light. Perhaps it is time that we own them for all creation and start returning them to the light by blessing the experiences and the ones having the experiences, including ourselves. In other words it is time to BE the LOVE that we are! I realize now that not only does He see them as experiences; He is the one experiencing them, because each of us are a manifestation of Him.
I have heard it said that we came into being that Source might know Him/Her self and His/Her creation. I can agree with this if we can say that to know means to experience – be intimately acquainted with. Although He/She knew all the possibilities, they had not been experienced. To do this we had to have the gift of Free Will and this brought about the possibilities of experiences that we observe as tragic. Had we kept the knowledge and understanding that we are God experiencing our creation and that we all are truly one we would not have had these unpleasant experiences but unfortunately we lost that awareness and these experiences are a result of this. We also lost sight of the fact that the abused and the abuser are both manifestations of God and therefore set up our own laws and judgments. We began to look at most of this as sin when in fact I believe that the source of all sin is the belief that we (and others) are separate and apart from God. Perhaps that is the only real sin there is. It is impossible to be separate from the very essence of our beings but that has been our belief and the great shift of the ages (the new paradigm) is the regaining of the truth that we are ALL manifestations of the one Source.
If you have not read Rokus DenHartog’s book Nova Ora I highly recommend that you do. He brings clarity to some of what I have tried to say above and says it with much eloquence. To paraphrase him, he says that when we began to feel separate from God, we began to believe that we had not lived up to His expectations. Therefore, his definition of sin is: the awareness that I am not able to meet God’s expectations. This is a false awareness, as God does not have expectations of us, but we create these expectations for others and ourselves when we have this false awareness and believe that we are separate from God (sin). I felt impressed to share this and hope it is a blessing to someone. Namaste
With much love, Reecie Ariola
