How Do i grow the Spirit within me, consistently

Can someone please explain to me what it really means to practice the presence of God?

Greetings in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. Happy is the man that understands these things. Blessed is the man that asked this question. Rich is the way of this life. Simple the way to understand it, hard is the way to come about it. For it is not a practice. For it to be a practice it would become a work and not an act of grace. It is and has always been. It surrounds you now and flows in and out. The only thing that can stop it is the mind of the man that thinks he is the cause for it to happen. Just sit and be still and do what the men of old used to do when they would close their eyes and say "here I'm I Lord". And then listen for his directions will be plain to hear.
